I wanted to create an explosion of colours and movement, using a variety of flowers and textures - something that felt a little electric.

Of course, the Australian natives are a must - but I also wanted to incorporate some varieties I don't usually paint, and create a more eclectic bouquet.

I probably need to shout this one out to my mate Fiona who greets everyone with a bouncy 'Hey, petal!'
